We were married on Saturday, September 16th, 1989 in Beautiful Lake Tahoe.  Marisa and I drove to Carson City Nevada and got the marriage license and met everyone in Stateline Nevada, at Lake Tahoe.   We had originally decided that our friends Matt Ensley and Sheryl Stoffer would be our witnesses, however they were held up with traffic and couldn't make it in time, so my sister Sandie Castleberry and my brother Michael McCann stepped in to witness the ceremony.  Marisa made such a beautiful bride, I wish we could have had a larger wedding in a Catholic Church, but our finances were stretched, and we were on our own with the wedding, so this is what we came up with.  After the wedding we had dinner at a restaurant in South Lake Tahoe, and spent the night at a local motel.

          We had several family members attend the Wedding; Marisa and Gary of course, Gary's mother Mildred McCann, Marisa's father Joseph Valente, and her Grandmother.  Gary's sister Sandie, and brother's Roger and Mickey.  Mickey's wife Linda, and his daughter Allison.  Roger's son Josh.  Sandie's husband Cas and her son Chris.  Just to mention a few.
